Don Vanpool is a seasoned executive and coach recognized for building systems, teams and growth platforms over the past 20+ years. He has started 3 businesses, worked as a GE Executive and served in the U.S. military. He is currently the CEO of OptaProfit working with small businesses throughout the Midwest

He delivered results as a business executive with General Electric and as a military officer with the 82nd Airborne Division. He has deep domain expertise in business development, lean six sigma and supply chain management in multiple industries. Don led a major sales originations process redesign for GE Capital resulting in $25mm in profitability improvements. He also created lean six sigma programs for GE Healthcare and Associated Bank resulting in a 50% improvement in service delivery and $30mm of profitability improvements. He recently developed the strategy and approach to fulfillment operations for a $20BN healthcare device business resulting in a $300MM improvement in revenue conversion, a 35% improvement in on-time delivery, and a 90% decrease in stock-outs. Master Black Belt certified by the General Electric Company where he certified and trained over 500 people delivering profitability improvements of $50M in areas such as sales process, new product introductions and pricing.

He also led U.S. paratroopers in combat arms training maneuvers as part of a quick-reaction paratrooper division.
